Direct answer
Use the highest map and difficulty you can finish consistently, equip unlocked XP, Cash, and Specialization bonuses, and complete Camp missions for Friendship. Failed high-tier runs are slower than reliable clears that pay out and advance missions.
What to know before the run
- Run level
- Temporary XP and upgrade cards
- Survival Level
- Account milestone progress
- Specialization
- Permanent survivor progress
- General tree
- Permanent account tools
- Best route
- Highest reliable clear
First identify the slow level
- Run level: collect gems and XP during the current run
- Survival Level: account progress that unlocks milestones such as Ranger at 175
- Survivor Specialization: permanent character progress bought in Training Yard
Build for reliable clears
Start with the most developed damage dealer on the account and give the other two slots to survivors who need progress. Narrow the leader's item and ability pool with unlocked rerolls or banishes only after the General tree provides those tools.
Do not call one map universally fastest
Community reports favor harder maps, difficulties, and stable Endurance runs for larger rewards, but no official table in the reviewed sources proves one route is always best. Compare completed rewards per minute on your account and step down when failed runs erase the gain.
Use the Training Yard in the right order
Open Training Yard and choose Training after each run. Buy General-tree progress with Cash when it unlocks account-wide tools, then put Specialization points into the survivor who will lead the next runs. A strong leader earns safer progress for two less-developed recruits.
Stack permanent bonuses before farming difficulty
Equip unlocked XP, Cash, Specialization, and pickup-range bonuses when the build remains strong enough to clear. Complete Briefing Room missions because Friendship permanently increases Cash and Specialization gains. These bonuses compound across later runs instead of helping only one result screen.
Measure rewards per completed minute
Write down the Cash, Specialization, and Survival Level progress from two successful runs on the same setup. Increase one map, difficulty, or mode step and compare again. Keep the harder route only when it still clears reliably and improves rewards per minute.
Use Endurance after the build stabilizes
Community players report good returns from stable Endurance runs, but longer is not automatically faster. Continue only while the squad clears normal waves and the next reward or mission target is realistic; conclude when the run has become a slow survival test with little new progress.
Do not copy an endgame farming build too early
Rerolls, banishes, Badge slots, Item slots, and pool filters unlock through permanent progress. Until they appear in the General tree, use the strongest available leader weapon and one support plan. A farming route that depends on missing filters will produce inconsistent upgrade choices.
