Direct answer

For a high-ceiling Infinite build, run SWAT + Tank + Huntress and stack the Explosive tag. Grenade launcher, rocket launcher, explosive arrows, and explosive ability evolutions build one coherent damage engine.

Quick reference

What to know before the run

Core squad
SWAT / Tank / Huntress
Primary tag
Explosive
Best fit
Infinite scaling
Top weapon
Explosive Arrows
Early safety
Saw Blades and taunt

Core loadout

  • SWAT: grenade launcher and explosive turret options
  • Tank: rocket launcher and durable frontline
  • Huntress: explosive arrows and area coverage
  • Sawblades: strong early safety even without the Explosive tag

Why the tags matter

Implosion refreshes and reapplies other active status effects. At 10 or more Explosive tags, explosion radius increases, letting the build scale from focused shots into screen-wide coverage.

Supporting stats

Take XP early, then damage, reload or cooldown, area, and sustain. Infinite removes the usual eight-to-ten item cap, so the build can eventually collect off-theme utility without sacrificing its core.

Pick order

Start with the highest-rank member of the trio. Stabilize that survivor's weapon, recruit the two missing characters, then secure Grenade Launcher, Rocket Launcher, and Explosive Arrows. Take Saw Blades or a taunting turret early when the main explosive weapons are still too slow to keep a lane open.

Weapon and ability priority

  • Huntress: reach Explosive Arrows and keep penetration high
  • Tank: build Rocket Launcher and use durability to protect the route
  • SWAT: finish Grenade Launcher and the explosive turret evolution
  • Abilities: favor Bombing Strike, explosive turrets, and crowd control before luxury damage

Explosive tags turn coverage into scaling

Implosion refreshes and reapplies other active status effects, so Bleed, Chemical, Electric, or Frost effects add value without replacing the main plan. At 10 or more Explosive tags, the radius bonus becomes the build's key breakpoint. Push the tag threshold before collecting unrelated elemental bonuses.

Choose support items by trigger rate

A final-projectile Critical effect works well with Rocket Launcher and Grenade Launcher because both use multi-round magazines; it does not help a one-shot bow in the same way. Movement-speed converters add ability damage, area, and duration once speed rises above their threshold. Glass of Milk gives long Infinite runs a growing health pool as kills accumulate.

Stat order after the core is online

  • XP early enough to finish all three weapon paths
  • Weapon damage and reload for rockets, grenades, and arrows
  • Ability cooldown, area, and duration for Bombing Strike and turrets
  • Critical chance and damage after the weapons have reliable hit coverage
  • Health, armor, or regeneration before enemies begin to punish one mistake

Read the damage screen correctly

Explosive Arrows should lead the weapon column when Huntress receives enough upgrades, followed by Rocket Launcher and Grenade Launcher. Bombing Strike and turrets should carry the ability column. If off-tag attacks lead instead, the build spent too many levels before reaching its Explosive evolutions.

When the build misses

Do not force every named item in a standard run. Protect the limited slots and keep the Explosive tag coherent. In Infinite, missing pieces can arrive later because the mode removes the item cap, but the first ten minutes still need one dependable weapon and one safety tool. A late 10-tag breakpoint cannot rescue a run that already has no escape lane.
